I Do Not Know What Will Happen:
I. BUT I DO KNOW THAT GOD WILL GUIDE!
“The LORD had said to Abram…go to the land I will show you.’”
Genesis 12:1
“By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later
receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did
not know where he was going.” Hebrews 11:8
“So Abram left, as the LORD had told him…” Genesis 12:4a
Abraham Left The Safety Of Familiarity.
Abraham Left The Security Of Familiarity.
Abraham Left The Sentimentality Of Familiarity.
II. BUT I DO KNOW THAT GOD WILL PRESIDE!
“Then God said, ‘Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son,
and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him
as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.”
Genesis 17:19
“By faith Abraham, even though he was past age—and Sarah
herself was barren—was enabled to become a father because he
considered him faithful who had made the promise.” Heb. 11:11
III. BUT I DO KNOW THAT GOD WILL PROVIDE!
“Then God said, ‘Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you
love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a
burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.’”
Genesis 22:2
“Abraham answered, ‘God himself will provide the lamb for the
burnt offering, my son.’ And the two of them went on
together…” Genesis 22:8
